On April 3, the 2014 Basel International Watch & Jewellery Show ended perfectly. This year’s show attracted nearly 150,000 people from all over the world. Glashütte Original successfully completed the exhibition and attracted much attention with its new products and existing series designs.
Germany’s top watchmaker Glashütte Original’s booth this year has expanded by 100 square meters compared to last year and is spread over three floors. The booth is located in Hall 1, adjacent to other high-end watch brands under the Swatch Group. Glashütte Original attracted the attention of countless viewers through a holographic display and a display table called ‘Wonderful Stage’. Through a giant magnifying glass, viewers can view parts decorated with fine gold and silver, exquisite dials and A close look at a range of components and complex movements.
Retailers, industry reporters and customers have a special fondness for Glashütte’s original and innovative movement, the 37 Chronograph Movement. This solid movement is equipped with a distinguished and elegant German Grand Chronograph chronograph watch and a vintage and stylish 70’s Grand Chronograph watch.
In order to clearly show the working principle of this innovative chronograph movement, Glashütte Original opened a display cabinet in the booth to present the hologram of the movement. This hologram looks like it is floating in the air and analyzes the movement carefully Internal structure. In the on-site product display and expert discussions, other new products from Glashütte originals, such as the watch with an inverted calendar and a hand-wound hollowed-out watch from the MP, were also well received. The new watches released at the Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Show will be fully available in late summer 2014.
